In a typographic structures course within the design program at Oregon State University, our class was the given the opportunity to create a spread for a professional publication in Portland known as Bear Delux Magazine. We had the chance to be published by the magazine if the art director liked the direction we chose. I was chosen in the top two finalists for the piece, and got the chance to further my piece through professional critiques.
